Trade-in Policy

All trade-ins/sales must be conducted in-store so that our management can verify the condition of cards offered. To request a trade-in of TCG products, please ask one of our trained staff members to assist. 

A seller must be over the age of 18 or have a parent or legal guardian present to conduct the trade-in or their behalf. ID may be requested to verify the age of the seller. 

The trade-in/sale value of TCG cards are based off of the lowest listed verified seller on tcgplayer.com converted to CAD. The rate that Mad Merchant Games trade or purchase TCG cards at is:

• 80% if the seller chooses store credit
• 60% if the seller chooses cash

Our management reserves the right to decline a part of or the whole trade-in/sale of TCG cards for any reason. These reasons may include but not limited to:

• Damaged product
• Fake/counterfeit product
• Inventory limits

Once a trained staff member offers a price and the seller agrees, payment will be made via cash or store credit in the form of a gift card. 

All trade-ins/sales are final.
